Volkswagen Group owns many big-name subsidiaries began with Volkswagen itself to Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini to our focus Porsche AG.

 Porsche has a long and interesting history, of working with VW;in 1934 the Porsche company received an official order for the design and construction of a German Volkswagen (Original beetle) which manufactured in the garage of the Porsche villa in Stuttgart. In order to prepare for mass production, an engine designer at Porsche KG created the unique Volkswagen trademark registered with the German patent office in 1953.
in 1969 Porsche started a new project with VW (VW-Porsche Sales Company) with a capital stock of five million Deutsche Mark and the aim of building and selling the VW-Porsche 914 sports car. Collaboration between VW and Porsche continued with the AUDI RS4, which was assembled by Porsche. Then came the Porsche Cayenne and the VW Touareg, which were developed on a common platform.
In mid-2005 Porsche SE (owner of Porsche AG) started buying VW shares and announced its plan to own 20% of Volkswagen Group and be  largest single shareholder and this plan developed to 42.5 percent of the group in 2008 with target to reach > 75 percent by the next year this was after European Commission initiated an infringement procedure (Article 258 paragraph 2TFEU) against German ( Volkswagen law) which faces free movement of capital of  Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union Article 63 .
By January 2009, Porsche SE had acquired 50.76 percent of Volkswagen shares the financial crisis spoilt Porsche’s takeover plan since banks were no longer willing to renew their lines of credit to make Porsche take over plans due to financial problems.


This difficulties turn the rudder to Volkswagen group to takeover Porsche AG by a deal of manufacturing process merge by 2011 and full takeover by Volkswagen group of Porsche AG with two stages the first in 2009 by 49.9 percent and the other in 2014 but due to 1.5 billion euros have to be paid after 31 July 2014 operation took place in 2012 to make a pyramid leads by Porsche and Piëch families and be Volkswagen group 10th brand
